(ATW.com) This building is a historic building in downtown of Bandung. Known as Gedung Sate because this building has a unique characteristic, namely ornaments 6 skewers (satay) that is above the central tower. 6 skewers symbolizing 6 million Gulden were used to build this white building at the time. The building is very well known not only in Bandung, but also well-known in West Java and Indonesia.
The building was built in 1920 and still standing strong and serves as the administrative center of Bandung. The building is touted as ‘Bandung White House’ It has now become one of the tourist attractions in Bandung most widely used as a place to take pictures. This is because the architecture is very beautiful and majestic as well as elements of its history and culture.
Not only the building are very popular, but also the complementary elements such as the park is very well maintained.
